Adolescence is a particularly difficult time. On one hand we were children during this time. On the other we were growing into adulthood being given responsibilities that allowed us to mature under the pressure of performance. This metamorphosis occurred was within a cultural-time paradigm.
In the Spiritual sense we also metamorphosize internally SPIRITUALLY with external actions and inactions from childhood to adulthood. Our maturation is contingent upon our consistent internal change to external action and demonstration of altruism, faith with works, giving, and love. Those in leadership positions get the word and eventually discern that he or she (participant church member) is good at what they do and sooner or later more responsibility is assigned to the WILLING participant volunteer/ giver as they metamorphosize in the offering of their time and money to the local church and community in Jesus' name. They put something on the water that eventually comes back to them. They to listen to the Pastor and meditate on His Word day and night and are like a tree bearing fruit in its season.
Are you out of your comfort zone in donating your time and money weekly or daily basis , in a missionary sense to help deliver the good news to a dying community?. Are you practicing law while applying the law of love. Are your medical fees placed on a sliding scale basis? Are you sensitive to those ignorant of budgeting enough to extend your expertise in seminars when you buy the donuts? Are you as an older lady following scripture to advise the younger wives and mothers of your church and community or you competing with them ? Are you providing your nurse training to those outside of your household? Are you teaching your home repair, welding, or mechanic skills to the youth of your church and community? in general ARE YOU GIVING BACK?
If not then you may not have entered adolescence in a Spiritual sense. You may still be a babe in Christ. You certainly are not experiencing the Kingdom of GOD. You have not because you have asked not for His power to overcome your pride, lust of the flesh and lust of the eye to undergo this TRANSFORMATION (metamrophosis).
